As we’ve shared here, here, here and here, we recently made five short compliance-related videos featuring speakers from our AML4 and sanctions forum.
In this final video of the series, Felicia Meyerowitz Singh – CEO and co-founder of Akoni Hub – talks about the many significant benefits that her company has reaped from using Bureau van Dijk's products. According to their website, Akoni Hub's main purpose is to "help SMEs maximise the return on their cash deposits, quickly, easily and securely". In order to deliver on this business premise, especially the "quickly, easily and securely" part, Felicia explains that Akoni Hub turns to several of our products at every step in its "four business stages".
For example, stage one, which Felicia labels "simple marketing," sees Akoni Hub using our Fame and Orbis databases to help identify viable potential clients within the UK and further afield. In the second stage, Felicia continues, they harness Compliance Catalyst to expedite their "AML pre-filtering" process. And, in stages three and four, according to Felicia, they lean on the Orbis and Fame information, as well as the Compliance Catalyst risk assessments, that they've accessed in the previous two phases, to help their clients craft and personalise their own onboarding procedures and dashboards on the Akoni Hub platform.
With Akoni Hub relying on the extensive, rich, treated company information that we provide at every stage of their business model, it's not surprising that Felicia concludes by saying: "We like working with Bureau van Dijk because we see the company as having the widest possible coverage of private company data for our analytics and datasets."
